Poem of the Week: “Forest Enchantment”

When I write, I imagine I’m in a completely different setting. Although the scenes change regularly, most of the times I’m in a magical field or forest – somewhere beautiful and peaceful. Finally, I sat down and wrote a poem describing this magical place of inspiration. “Forest Enchantment” was the little poem that resulted.

Forest Inspiration

In forests of old,
Where secrets are hidden,
Where tales are foretold,
And mourning’s forbidden,
Beneath the sky,
In the misty gray air,
The birds, they cry,
Playing Truth or Dare
While the sun’s bright beams
In the dazzling day,
Caress the streams
Of a Foreign Bay.
